Okuma Alarm A-1101 – Blue Screen (Kernel Stop Error)

Alarm A-1101 indicates that a system-level kernel stop error has occurred in the CNC control.
The operating system encountered a critical fault and forced an immediate system halt (blue screen).

This alarm is typically related to internal control software or hardware failure.

Common causes include:

• Corrupted CNC system software

• Memory (RAM) malfunction

• Hard disk or storage failure

• Incomplete software update

• Sudden power interruption

• Faulty control board

The machine must be restarted before operation can continue.

Recommended actions:

1. Power OFF the machine completely.

2. Wait at least 60 seconds before restarting.

3. Check for recurring alarms.

4. Verify system software integrity.

5. Inspect storage device and RAM if the issue repeats.

If the blue screen appears repeatedly, a full CNC diagnostic or hardware inspection is required.
