Okuma Alarm B-2969 – G23 FEED
Okuma Alarm-B 2969 occurs when the CNC control detects that the feed command value (F) used with the G23 command is set to 0 or is missing. Since the machine requires a valid feed rate for proper motion control, the operation cannot continue until a correct feed value is entered.
This alarm is commonly caused by programming errors, incorrect G-code formatting, post-processor issues, or accidental parameter changes inside the machining program. In some cases, the alarm may also appear after editing CNC programs manually or importing unsupported machining data from CAM software.
To resolve the issue, check the program line containing the G23 command and verify that a valid feed rate (F value) is specified. Make sure the feed value is not zero and matches the machining requirements of the operation being performed.
If the alarm continues to appear even after correcting the program, additional inspection of CNC parameters, software configuration, or control system behavior may be necessary.
