Okuma Alarm A-1107 – Major FL-net Error
Alarm A-1107 indicates a critical failure during initialization of the FL-net communication card.
FL-net (Factory Local Network) is the industrial communication network used for high-speed data exchange between the CNC, PLC, and other control units. When this alarm appears, the FL-net interface failed to start correctly or detected a fatal communication fault.
As a result:
-
Communication between CNC and PLC may be interrupted
-
Loader or peripheral devices may not respond
-
Machine startup may be incomplete
-
Network-dependent functions may be disabled
Possible causes include:
-
FL-net board hardware failure
-
Initialization error during power-up
-
Corrupted firmware
-
Network configuration mismatch
-
Loose or damaged communication cable
-
Power supply instability
Recommended actions:
-
Power off the machine completely and restart.
-
Check FL-net board LEDs for abnormal status.
-
Inspect network cables and connectors.
-
Verify network parameters and node settings.
-
Reseat or replace the FL-net card if necessary.
-
Contact authorized service if the error persists.
Because this is classified as a “Major” error, normal operation may not be possible until the issue is resolved.
