Okuma Alarm A-1100 – Parameters Not Set

Alarm A-1100 indicates that the CNC control has lost or rejected the stored machine parameter data.
Due to a backup data error, the system automatically loaded factory default initialization data.

As a result, all machine-specific parameters must be reconfigured.

Common causes include:

• Corrupted parameter backup

• Battery failure (SRAM data loss)

• Power interruption during parameter write

• Hard disk or storage failure

• Incomplete data restoration

The machine cannot operate correctly until all required parameters are properly restored.

Recommended actions:

1. Do not operate the machine in automatic mode.

2. Restore parameters from a verified backup file.

3. Check SRAM battery condition.

4. Verify spindle, axis, and PLC settings.

5. Confirm machine configuration before restart.

If no valid backup is available, parameters must be re-entered manually according to machine documentation.
