Okuma Alarm A-1093 – PLC Backup Data File Not Found

Alarm A-1093 indicates that the PLC backup data file cannot be located in system memory.

The control is unable to access the required PLC backup file, and the backup or restore process is therefore disabled.

Common causes include:

  • Missing PLC backup file

  • Incorrect memory directory structure

  • Storage device failure

  • Corrupted system data

  • Incomplete backup procedure

Without a valid PLC backup file, system parameters cannot be safely restored.

Recommended actions:

  1. Verify that the PLC backup file exists in the correct directory.

  2. Check storage device integrity.

  3. Reload PLC backup data from an external backup if available.

  4. Confirm correct software installation.

  5. Restart the control after restoring the file.

If no valid backup is available, PLC configuration must be restored manually according to machine documentation.
